PS Yves Iradukunda welcomed at the Ministry

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Ministry’s staff witnessed the handover between the outgoing PS and the incoming one.

This comes after the recent cabinet reshuffle that took place on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 and Ms. Claudette Irere (the former PS) was appointed as Minister of State in The Ministry of Education in charge of ICT & TVET and Mr. Yves Iradukunda was appointed to be The PS at MINICT.

PS Iradukunda said that it’s an honor for him to join a vibrant team and he is delighted to embark on the journey of serving the nation.

Speaking to the “I am very delighted for the responsibilities. With this team, I can see the drive to serve our country to make a difference. For me that has always been the purpose in my life, in particular, being called to serve a greater purpose was a great invitation; it’s a privileged to work with you.”

Delivering her farewell remarks, Hon. Minister Claudette Irere commended MINICT and RISA’s staff for their extensive efforts to serve the country.

 “I want to thank everyone for having worked with you well. What I promise the new PS is that the team is very proactive and vibrant. Count on them. Now that other sectors are counting on ICT and innovation sector to accelerate the development of citizens, please keep it up.”
