Minister Paula Ingabire takes over as the Minister of ICT and Innovation

This Monday, 22nd October 2018, the handover ceremony took place between the outgoing Minister Jean de Dieu Rurangirwa and the new Minister Paula Ingabire.

In his remarks, The Former Minister expressed his gratitude towards H.E. President Paul Kagame for trusting him and he commended the Ministry’s staff for their support and collaboration.

The incoming Minister, Paula Ingabire thanked the President of Republic for appointing her and she invited the staff’s support to get the job done.

“I express my gratitude to the President of Republic for trusting me and I am pledging to work with the team. My appreciation goes to the former Minister for leading a very capable team. I do count on each and everyone’s support as we go forward.” Said Minister Paula Ingabire.

Additionally, the handover ceremony not only occurred between the outgoing Minister and incoming Minister, but also between the former Permanent Secretary Lt. Col. François Régis Gatarayiha who was appointed as Director General of Immigration and Emigration and the new Permanent Secretary Claudette Irere.
