“Cultivating continuous learning should be in your DNA.” Minister Ingabire urging Startups.
On Friday, October 4 2019, at Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali, Minister Paula Ingabire attended the graduation of the second cohort of the 250 Startups; an incubation program which accelerates startups to be fundable.
Ten teams went through a pitching session of their projects in from of investors who were among the attendants of the graduation.
Delivering her closing remarks, Minister Paula Ingabire expressed her gratitude to all partners to make the graduation successful and advised the startups that they should be risk takers and understand that failure doesn’t preclude them from ultimately succeeding.
She told them to develop their niche; by determining their value proposition; and choosing to be a platform or product company.
She reminded them that cultivating continuous learning should be in their DNA.
“Build networks: Not everyone will have deep pockets, some networks will connect you to the right markets, or people with money.” Urged Minister Ingabire.
Concluding, Minister Ingabire told them to always listen to their market and hire the right team.
